*This my first [inexperienced] time doing this. Hopefully the presentation will improve with time & experience!

My goal is to share articles, opinions, and comments that strike me as "Hello?! Doesn't anybody see this?" It's as if people weren't thinking ideas through nor making the links that only I seemed to see. During the past few days since the budget deficit crisis, I read articles that commented on the process and that to me seemed to explain what happened in the process. I've been thinking of doing something like this many years ago. The title for it followed [or proceeded] the idea. Even back then I was puzzled that 'people' didn't see the obvious fallacies or consequences of popular opinion and comments. I thought then, someone needed to speak out and do that a la Thomas Payne's "Common Sense" publication in the early days of our Nation's history. [High school history classes still fresh in my mind.]

Soooooo .......... Here I am, finally, forging ahead, but not in the format that was available in the 70s. Hmmm .... With today's modern communication via computers and the internet, the scope and reach of this effort may spread ... who knows how far? Thank you to my friend Jack who answered my FaceBook query on blogs, and to Ken, who, moments ago, asked me where my blog was! Suggestions to consider on formatting, links, attachments, and "etiquette" are welcome. A friend recently commented that I say things at times that are tongue-in-cheek, when underneath I really mean it. If that makes sense. Wish I could rmember how it was put to me. I chuckled, but didn't say he was close to the truth.

So enough prelude and preview, and let's get on with the "show". Hold onto your hats and your seats - the ride might get wild and take your breath away. If anything, I really hope it just sounds like  .... hahaha, you knew this was coming, right? ... COMMON SENSE!
